He also delved on the on the career paths and the several occupations available upon graduating in professional social work. Dr Winnie Joyce, Head of the Department of Social Work anchored the session and Dr Jonas Richard, Professor & Head, PG & Research Department of Social Work delivered the closing remarks. The lecture by Mr. Joseph focused on social work competencies which include knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and behaviors that contribute to a social worker’s performance.
